Auburn, Washington's ultra walker, Don Stevenson, wishes to send a "Valentine" to the Spina Bifida Association of Washington State (SBAWS) by doing a 360-mile walk along the Interurban Trail between the towns of Pacific and Renton, Washington.

Spina Bifida is a permanently disabling birth defect. It results from the failure of the spine to close properly during the first month of pregnancy. For more detailed information, see the SBAWS.org website

Monday through Friday from February 1 to February 13, Don will walk 30 miles each day from his Auburn home to the Interurban Trailhead in the town of Pacific. He'll walk through Pacific, Auburn, Kent and Tukwila and on into Renton. He'll return by retracing the same route.

Don welcomes everyone to join him for a mile or two at anytime between 7 am and 2 pm.
